TWENTY-ONE
The objective of the game is to roll exactly 21 points, but go over and you lose.
Let's walk through it: Player 1 rolls the dice multiple times. If they roll 21 they win, but if they go over they lose (kind of like Blackjack).
To be clear, though, they don't automatically win unless, on the first round of rolling, they roll three seven's in a row, or if they end with a double roll that hits 21.
For example, if Player 1 has 19 so far and roll a two (snake eyes), it's an automatic winner. But, if they land on 21 any other way, then it needs to go around for the other players to try to get a rebuttal. If no one else rolls a 21, Player 1 wins.
Additional gameplay rules:
- Table Rules:
- If you roll your dice off the table at anytime, you keep going and re-roll but only after you've had a drink of your beverage!
- If you've rolled 20 and have another roll to try to get 21, you might try to roll the dice so that one falls off the table, leaving only the one on the table valid. In this scenario, if both dice roll off the table, you pass to the next person and if both dice stay on the table, you also pass to the next person.
- Winning:
- If a player rolls an 11on their first turn, the game is over and that player wins the "bet" and keeps the dice.
- Losing the Dice:
- The only way you "lose the dice," is if you roll a seven on comeout. But, say you role a five and then later roll a seven, you've lost and have to pass the dice!
